Dato' Lee, aged 47, is the Chief Executive Officer of Unico-Desa Plantations Berhad.
He is also the IOI Group Executive Director and is responsible in overseeing the operations of all the Group's core business segments.
Dato' Lee is a barrister from Gray's Inn, London and holds a LLB (Honours) from King's College London and a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance and Accounting from London School of Economic. Prior to joining IOI Group as a General Manager in 1994, he served in various capacities in the Attorney General's Chambers and the Malaysian Judiciary service for about four years. His last posting was as a Magistrate.
Dato's Lee is the Chairman of the Malaysian Palm Oil Council ("MPOC") and also serves as a Council Member in the Malaysian Palm Oil Association ("MPOA"). He was a Director of the Malaysian Green Technology Corporation from 2011 to 2013, and served on the National Council of the Real Estate and Housing Developers' Association (REHDA) Malaysia from 2000 to 2006.
Dato' Lee is the brother of Lee Yeow Seng.
Dato' Foong, aged 66, is the IOI Group Plantation Director and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Unico-Desa Plantations Berhad. He holds the Associate of the Incorporated Society of Planters (AISP). He graduated with a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Honours) degree from University of Malaya in 1972.
Since graduation, he has served in the plantation industry for the past 41 years. Prior to joining the IOI Group as a General Manager in 1998 and subsequently was promoted to IOI Group Plantation Director in 1999, Dato' Foong was holding senior positions in several established plantation companies.
Lee Yeow Seng, aged 35, is the IOI Group Executive Director. Since joining the IOI Group, he is actively involved in corporate affairs and general management withing the IOI Group.
Lee Yeow Seng holds a LLB (Honours) from King's College London and was admitted to the Bar of England & Wales by Inner Temple.
Lee Yeow Seng is the brother of Dato's Lee Yeow Chor.
Mr Ng Soon Lai was appointed as Director of Unico-Desa Plantations Berhad on 30 September 2008.
A Chartered Accountant by training, he is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales since 1977. Mr Ng gained his post qualifying experience in audit and accounting with Coopers & Lybrand in London and Kuala Lumpur before embarking on his career path in the financial sector in 1980. He then served in various positions in a leading local merchant bank and a finance company.
Subsequently, he joined Alliance Bank Malaysia Bhd in July 1991 as General Manager of Credit. He was appointed as Chief Executive Director of Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad on 21 January 1994 and to the Board of Alliance Merchant Bank Berhad on 22 July 2002 until his resignation on 31 August 2005. He also sits on the Board of S P Setia Berhad, Deutsche Bank (M) Berhad, Hiap Teck Venture Berhad, ELK-Desa Resources Berhad, Tune Insurance Malaysia Berhad and Tune Ins Holdings Berhad.
Mr Tee Thiam Kim was appointed as Director of Unico-Desa Plantations Berhad on 16 August 2010.
He graduated with a B.A. (Hons) in Communications degree from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and obtained his LL.B.(Hons) from the University of London. Mr. Tee is a lawyer by profession.
Mr. Tee Thiam Kim has accumulated a wide spectrum of career exposures at various capacities which blended the experiences in civil service, corporates and associations for the past 27 years, inter alia include the Prime Minister's Department, Information Ministry, New Straits Times Press Group, Maybank Group, Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor and he is currently the legal adviser to several prominent associations in Malaysia.
Mr Leow Yan Seong was appointed as Director of Unico-Desa Plantations Berhad on 21 October 2011.
He graduated with a Bachelors of Economics-Accounting (Honours) Degree from University of Malaya. Mr Leow has more than 31 years working experience including finance, audit and general management.
Mr Leow also sits on the Board of Apex Equity Holdings Berhad.
